1. Shaniwar Wada Palace

Shahniwarwada also known as Shanwarwada  is one of the finest examples of architecture in the city. this grant mansion was built by the Peshwa Bajirao . The fort itself was largely destroyed in 1828 by an unexplained fire, but the surviving structures are now maintained as a tourist site.

2. Sinhagad Fort

Sinhagad fort also known as Kondana fort is located 1312 m above sea level there are two entrances to this fort - one in the north eastern region (Pune Darwaza) and another one towards the southeastern part (Kalyan Darwaza).

3. ISKCON NVCC Temple

ISKCON New Vedic Temple Cultural Center (NVCC) is a temple of Radha - Krishna located in Kondhwa about 12 kilometres south of Pune. It was inaugurated on the auspicious occasion of Nityananda Tryodshi which falls on 23 feb 2013 and the former President Pranab Mukherjee inaugurated the temple.

15. National Defence Academy

The National Defence Academy (NDA) is the Joint Services academy of the Indian Armed Forces, where cadets of the three services, the Army, the Navy and the Air Force train together before they go on to respective service academies for further pre-commissioning training. 26. Vishrambaug Wada 


Vishrambaag Wada, a fine mansion situated at central Pune's Thorale Bajirao Road,was the luxurious residence of Peshwa Bajirao II, the last Peshwa of Maratha confederacy, in early nineteenth century. The 20,000 sq. ft. wada presently houses a post office on its ground floor, a few other offices of the municipal corporation and a small museum of Maratha artefacts put together by noted Maratha historian, Babasaheb Purandare.
